2019 MYSummit

ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) and HRC (Human Rights Campaign) are partnering with Teen Health Mississippi to organize the 2019 MYSummit. MYSummit encourages young people to become effective advocates in their state. The summit consists of workshops over the course of 3 days (January 19-21, 2019) to train participants in advocacy work and campaign building. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with partner and guest organizations.

Attendees have the opportunity to apply for the Spark Fellowship, which will fund 2 projects that plan to address challenges and impact you. Both applications--that to attend the summit and the Spark Fellowship--are open until November 19th to anyone 15-24 years old who has an interest in advocating for Mississippi youth.
