Hispanic Film Series Fall 2019

The Hispanic Film Series has returned for several events this semester. This fall five films included in the series will all be held on Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in Lamar (room TBA). Admission is free and all films include English subtitles. For more information contact Prof. Diane Marting, dmarting@olemiss.edu.

The Spanish Film Club,  The Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, The Center for Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement, Alpha Lambda Delta, Modern Language, and Pragda. The Spanish Film Club series was made possible with the support of Pragda, SPAIN arts and culture, and the Secretary of State for the Culture of Spain.

Critical Language Scholarship Information Session

in the Gerald M. Abdalla Boardroom (Croft 305)

The Critical Language Scholarship Program is an intensive, overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at U.S. colleges and universities. Students spend 8-10 weeks abroad studying one of 15 critical languages essential to America’s engagement with the world. This workshop will provide an overview of the scholarship, application, and deadlines.

Alumni Talk: Kennedy Horton

Kennedy Horton
Managing Director and General Manager

of GNC EU in Dublin, Ireland

 Kennedy graduated from Croft in 2009 and then received his MBA from Ole Miss in 2011. After his MBA, Kennedy began working as a financial analyst at FedEx in Memphis until 2016 when he started working for GNC, as Senior Manager of their International Business Department in Pittsburgh. From 2016 to 2019, Kennedy worked for GNC in Shanghai until June when he moved to Managing Director of GNC EU in Dublin, Ireland.
