Dr. Angela Falco Howard, Professor Emerita from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and mother of our own Croft professor of History Dr. Joshua Howard, will be speaking at the University Museum at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21. She will talk about the Dunhuang Buddhist caves, an important archeological site found on the edge of the Gobi Desert and the site of intense religious, commercial, and cultural exchange along the trade routes linking the East and West, known collectively as the Silk Road.
