James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace offers 12-14 fellowship awards through the prestigious and highly selective James C. Gaither Junior Fellowship program to uniquely qualified graduating seniors and individuals who have graduated during the past academic year. Selected students will work as research assistants to Carnegie’s senior scholars. The James C. Gaither Junior Fellows program is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs.

To receive the application guidelines that included detailed information about this year's competition, including (a) the list of the specific programs at the Carnegie Endowment that will accept Junior Fellows, (b) this year's essay prompts, and (c) special qualifications required for each of the programs, please contact the nominating officer, Dr. Oliver Dinius.

The internal UM deadline for applications is Friday, November 30. Materials should be submitted in PDF format and sent to the nominating officer, Dr. Oliver Dinius.
