Lecture with Greg Forter: Colonialism, Textuality, and the Politics of Hybridity-Mimicry in Hari Kunzru's The Impressionist
Greg Forter, Professor of English at the University of South Carolina, will be speaking on "Colonialism, Textuality, and the Politics of Hybridity-Mimicry in Hari Kunzru's The Impressionist." Greg is author of Murdering Masculinities: Fantasies of Gender and Violence in the American Crime Novel (NYU, 1990), Gender, Race, and Mourning in American Modernism (Cambridge, 2011), and the forthcoming Critique and Utopia in Postcolonial Historical Fiction (Oxford).
